We are a family run business and strive to ensure that we always go that 'extra mile' for our customers. This philosophy, together with a dedicated team has ensured our continued success.
 
Should Any Cake Tins Arrive Damaged

All orders should be delivered in the same perfect condition that leave our warehouse. If your order arrives damaged you must sign and accept it as damaged. Then contact us straight away (within 48hrs of delivery).

Refunds and Exchanges

Please make your selections carefully. Under distance selling regulations you have 7 days to examine the cake tins from when they arrive. After that time unfortunately cake tins can not be returned.

All refunds will be processed within 14 days. Please note that we can not refund the postage on any items returned to us (unless the cake tins are faulty / damaged). If returning a product to us, please contact our helpdesk with the details before doing so, so we can advise you of the best method.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Pricing

All prices shown are in UK pounds sterling.

Delivery

When products are currently in stock, we aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1 working day. However, if any items are not currently in stock, delivery may be delayed. Please therefore allow up to 28 days. We aim to keep you informed via email of the progress of your order. If you require an update at any stage though, please do not hesitate to contact our helpdesk.

Parcels are sent with the Royal Mail or Interlink (Mon - Fri 7.30am - 3pm). We can only deliver to your delivery address given at the time of order and some orders may need to be signed. After they have been sent we can not change the delivery address for any reason.

Part shipping of orders is done at our own descretion.

IMPORTANT - Please ensure the address you provide is 100% correct, full and complete with postcode. You will be sent an email after ordering that confirms your order details. Make sure they are correct. We are not responsible for orders lost in transit if the postcode or other parts of your address are wrong.

We can accept no liability for late delivery.

International Orders

Due to the cost of postage we are unable to send cake tins to outside Mainland UK.

Customer Services

We aim to offer an efficient and courteous service to our customers. It is our policy to acknowledge all orders and notify you of an expected despatch, and to meet this date in the vast majority of cases. If our service falls below that to which you have a right to expect, or you have any suggestions for the improvement of this site, please email our helpdesk.

Customer Complaints

If you unhappy with the service you receive from Cake Tins please contact us straight away so we can correct the situation. All emails we be responded to within 3 working days. We will also keep you informed of everything we are doing to correct the situation until the problem has been solved.

Customer Details

Your details will not be passed on to any third parties. We may, however, periodically email you with information relating to this website and any forthcoming affiliated sites. If you wish to be removed from any mailing lists, please contact our sales team.

Ways of Paying

For security purposes all credit card transactions are handled via a secure server and processed by WorldPay, our online clearing agents. Caketins.co.uk have no access to your credit card details. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard etc) and Switch.

You are also able to pay by cheque. Please make the cheque payable to World Ideas Limited and post to:
